TMMi Structure Overview
There are four levels of 'membership' within the TMMi Foundation structure.

The TMMi Governing Body, responsible for the overall Strategy and Governance of the Foundation.
Directors are appointed by the existing Board of Directors. Directors should be registered with the Irish Department of trade and comply with their rules regarding applicability to be a Director. Once appointed a Director remains in place until either they resign, or are dismissed for breach of the Article of Association, not fulfilling their role or a breach of the TMMi Foundation rules. The Board of Directors have power of veto over the TMMi Executive Management Team in terms of actions relating to strategic direction, and Finance. They also have the power to dismiss TMMi Management Executive’s who breach the TMMi Foundation rules. The Board of Directors decides how many Directors need to be in place, but as a minimum there should be:
Responsible for the day to day management of the Foundation, reporting to the Board of Directors.
The TMMi Management Executive formally meet four times a year, typically in various locations across Europe. The Management Executive Team members positions are elected at the AGM. Individuals are elected for a three year period. At the AGM following their third anniversary they stand down and if they so wish can be re-elected immediately. There is no limit to the amount of times they can be re-elected. Each elected Board Member must for fill one of the following roles within the TMMi Board:
Interested individual (there is no concept of any organization being a member) who applies and meets the defined requirement of membership.
The key role of a member is to review and possibly author TMMi Foundation Intellectual Property. They will be invited to attend and vote at the yearly TMMi Foundation AGM. Members may stand for available roles on the TMMi Management Executive team at the yearly AGM. They can attend TMMi Management Executive meetings if either authorised by or invited by the TMMi Management Executive Chair.

Interested organizations that provide financial resources, in terms of money or benefits in kind, to the TMMi Foundation.
They may provide resources to either review or author TMMi Foundation Intellectual Property.

An individual who is holds multiple levels of position (e.g. Company Director and TMMi Executive Management Team member) only have one vote, and not a vote for each role they fulfil. Voting is not by role, it is by individual.
