Geoff Thompson - Chair
Geoff Thompson

Geoff is one of the founder members of the TMMi Foundation; he is focused on improving the way we test and sees TMMi as a direct influence in this goal. As a Director of Experimentus Ltd he makes his living from helping people to improve the way they work. He is a founder member of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) and is currently the Chairman of The UK Testing Board. He co-authored the best selling Software Testing book on Amazon.co.uk - BCS book Software Testing - An ISEB foundation. He is also is Vice Chairperson for the BCS SIGIST. In 2008 Geoff won the European Testing Excellence Award.

Erik van Veenendaal - Vice Chair
Erik van Veneendaal

Erik has carried out test process improvements activities, based on TMM, in a large number of organizations. He is the author of numerous papers and a number of books on software quality and testing, including Testing according to TMap and The Testing Practitioner. He is the founder of Improve Quality Services Ltd, senior lecturer at the Eindhoven University of Technology, a member of Dutch ISO standards committee for software quality and the vice-president of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).


Brian Wells - Technical Work Stream Chair
Brian Wells

Brian has worked within organisations at various levels. This includes assessment of maturity of current test and quality related processes using TMM, defining and implementing achievable process improvements and robust metrics measurement programmes. He has been engaged as a speaker for a number of different events throughout Europe covering a wide range of testing subjects. He holds ISEB Foundation and Practitioner Certificates in Software Testing, is a certified ISEB trainer and is also a trained CMM assessor. Brian is a principal consultant at Experimentus Ltd.

Klaus Olsen - Commercial Work Stream Chair
Klaus Olsen

Klaus presented his first experience with the TMM model at EuroSTAR in Munich 1998. Since then Klaus has used the model in work with clients in Denmark and Norway through his company Softwaretest.dk. Klaus has been a tester for over 16 years, and has presented at conferences in San Francisco, Yokohama, Sydney, Seoul, New Delhi, Munich, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Klaus is the Danish representative on the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB). Klaus is co-author of the current Foundation and Advances level syllabus released by ISTQB, and author of a Danish book on software testing.

Meile Posthuma - Secretary
Meile Posthuma

Meile has worked most of his career at a international financial organization where he did many test consultancy assignments including test process improvement. Since 1st of January 2007 Meile is a test advisor at Logica and active in the field of testing since 1996. He holds the ISEB Foundation and Practitioner certificates and is an certified ISTQB trainer. He is since 1996 active in TestNet, a Dutch testing association, and the last five years member of the board. He is also chair of BNTQB (member board of ISTQB) and active in many local and international working parties.

Fran O'Hara - Treasurer
Fran O'Hara

Fran is (co)founder and director of Insight Test Services, providing test consulting, training and managed test services; Insight Consulting, providing process improvement services; and RPI Alliance, advancing process improvement know-how. He specializes in pragmatic approaches to process improvement with a particular emphasis on people issues. Fran is a regular speaker at conferences, including ICSTest, SofTest, BCS SIGiST, EuroSTAR, European SEPG and the U.S. SEPG. He is an ISEB/ISTQB tutor, a trained SEI CMM lead assessor and TickIT auditor, a fellow of the Irish Computer Society and co-founder of the Irish SIG in Software Testing.

Andrew Goslin - Accreditation Chair
Andrew Goslin

Andrew is a founder member of the TMMi Foundation. He has over 20 years IT experience with a broad background and roles in financial sercvices and retail. He is an experienced test manager and has been responsible for a leading UK retailer's test methods and standards. He holds ISEB Foundation & Practitioner certificates in software testing, and certification in ITIL Service Management and Prince2. Andrew has been a certified ISEB trainer for software testing and has been involved in the development of ISEB and ISTQB syllabi and examinations. He has taken part in CMM and TMM based assessments and is a trained CMM / CMMi assessor. Andrew has spoken at a number of European software testing conferences.

Duncan Small - Technology Officer
Duncan Small

Duncan is an experienced Test Manager with 15 years experience in the industry working for a number of UK and International based companies. With a broad background across a number of sectors (Finance, Communications), he has worked in a number of roles starting out as a Test Analyst and working through to his current position as a Senior Consultant with AppLabs. Duncan is ISEB Foundation and Prince2 qualified and over recent years has worked on a number of high profile cross industry projects that have involved close working across different test organisations. Through AppLabs, he has undertaken a number of TPI projects and has supported the work AppLabs has done with the TMMi.


Mac Miller - Membership Secretary
Mac Miller

Mac is responsible for the Central Testing Group at Marks & Spencer. He has over 25 years IT experience in various roles. He holds ISEB Foundation & Practitioner certificates in Software Testing, a Foundation Certificate in ITIL Service Management and is a trained CMMI assessor. He has taken part in CMMI and TMM based assessments. Mac actively promotes testing, taking part in presentations, seminars and as a Programme Committee member for the ICSTest-UK conference for the past couple of years.
